$10 lift tickets, $35 lodging and great snow conditions

Davis, WV (March 2007) – Ski season is quickly coming to an end, but winter outdoor enthusiasts can get one last taste of downhill adventure this weekend (March 22-25) during Canaan Valley Resort’s Snow Blast Weekend.

“Now is the time to take advantage of fantastic spring skiing conditions and great low rates,” said Troy Cardwell, General Manager at Canaan Valley Resort. “We still have a majority of our slopes open, as well as the Tube Park and ice-skating arena. Come out and join us this weekend. We’re going to have a blast!”

Cardwell said guests can stay at the resort’s lodge for $35 per night Thursday, Mar. 22 – Sunday, Mar. 25. Lift tickets, equipment rentals and ski lessons are $10 per person, per day.

On Saturday, March 24, the resort will offer food, games and activities for the entire family at the ski area. Activities include a Boarder Cross Race, Frozen T-Shirt Contest, face painting, outdoor cookout, and Lollipop Race for the kids. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each event.

The last day of skiing at Canaan Valley Resort will be Sunday, March 25.
