With snowmaking continuing, the slope count has moved to 14 and we have added Upper Snowbird Trail back into the mix. Forecasts indicate that far colder temperatures will begin again next week and we will be ready.

We have also decided to begin our big Season Pass Sale on today and continue through March 3 at midnight. You can purchase your pass in person or online for next season beginning February 26 and ski or ride for the rest of this season and next.

And passes are at the lowest rate of this year and next as well for those five days. Also, if you decide after skiing or riding with us, that you would like to upgrade your lift ticket to a season pass – we will take the price of your day’s lift ticket off the cost of a pass, beginning February 26. AND, if you have a season pass to any other area and want to try us out, you get $10 off the cost of either a lift ticket or season pass, you must show your current pass from the other area at time of purchase so that purchase has to be done in person. Don’t miss this opportunity to save.

PLUS, did you know we offer season ski and snowboard rentals??? We give you BRAND NEW equipment, ordered this spring and picked up in the fall. What’s easier than one stop shopping? Check our website for more details.

Tube World, located in Maggie Valley across from Ghost Town in the Sky, four miles from the ski area is coming up on their final weekend of tubing and will reopen on Thursday at 4pm for tubing on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Cost for tubing is $25 and you must be 42″ tall to ride alone. There is no two person tubing at Tube World. Wee Bowl, our children’s snowplay area for kids under the 42″ height requirement will be open and operating on the same schedule as Tube World.

Our rental shop in Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski & Sports, is open daily. Be sure to stop there for your discounted rentals and all accessories you might need prior to your day on the slopes. Also, you can pick up your rentals and lift tickets for the next day after 7pm each evening at either the shop in Maggie Valley or at the ski area, so you are ready to go the moment you get to the area.

See you out there!
