Beech Mountain Resort’s Learn to Ski Kid’s Poster Contest

Get your art supplies ready to promote Skiing and Snowboarding!

January is learn to ski month! In support of this initiative, Beech Mountain Resort will hold a poster design contest to promote learning to ski and snowboard. This contest is open to all 3rd – 5th grade students nationwide.

First, second and third prize will be awarded in male and female categories. First prize includes a ski or snowboard set-up courtesy of FLOW Snowboards and Atomic Skis, one full day in the Beech Mountain Resort Youth Learning Center, two additional lift tickets, and a helmet and goggle set from SCOTT Sports. Second Prize includes a free lift ticket, rental and first-time beginner lesson at Beech Mountain Resort. Third prize winners receive a free beginner lesson at Beech Mountain Resort.

All entries must be original, flat, two-dimensional drawings, paintings or renderings no smaller than 8.5 inches by 11 inches and no larger than 11 inches by 17 inches. No photographs will be permitted.

Deadline for submissions is January 31, 2012. Posters will be displayed in the View Haus Cafeteria at Beech Mountain Resort and will be judged by our staff of certified ski and snowboard instructors. Winners will be announced on February 1, 2012.
