Be Active Learn to Ski!
January is National Learn to Ski Month!
In support of this initiative, Beech Mountain Resort will hold a (regional, local, national) poster design contest to promote learning to ski and snowboard.
Eligibility: The contest is open to all 3rd – 5th grade students (regional, local, national)
Dimensions and Form: All entries must be original flat, two-°©] dimensional drawings, paintings, or renderings. No photographs permitted. Posters should be at least 8.5”x11” and can be no larger than 11”x17”.
Theme:Poster designs should be derived from the theme.
Categories: Male and Female Prizes:
1st: A Beginner Ski or Board Set up (courtesy of FLOW Snowboards and Atomic skis)
One full day in the BMR Youth Learning Center Two additional tickets
A Helmet and Goggle Setfrom SCOTT Sports
2nd: One lift ticket, rental, and first time beginner lesson at Beech Mountain Resort
3rd: One first time beginner lesson at Beech Mountain Resort
Deadline: January 31, 2011
Posters will be displayed at Beech Mountain Resort in the View Haus Cafeteria. The Beech Mountain Resort Staff of certified instructors will judge the entries. Winners will be announced on February 1, 2012.
