Well, Beech made an announcement about tomorrow’s operations and I won’t lie, I’m a little surprised.  I thought they would try and open but conditions just weren’t up to their standards so they’re going to hold off for now.  The press release is below.


On Saturday, December 3, 2016, Beech Mountain Resort will be closed for skiing and snowboarding. The Beech Mountain Brewing Co., Ski Beech Sports and Ice Skating will be open. Our snowmaking crew is hard at work preparing the slopes to re-open. Stay tuned for updates on the opening of skiing and snowboarding. We will post the Sunday operating schedule tomorrow.

Saturday, December 3, 2016 Operating Schedule

Ice Skating
$15 -Two Hour Session (includes skate rental)
Session Times:
10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m.

Beech Mountain Brewing Co.
11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Ski Beech Sports
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Ski Beech Sports offers a wide range of gear and clothing to suit your snowboarding, and skiing needs. Save Big on last season’s merchandise and ALL youth outerwear.

Administration
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Season passes and lockers are available for pick-up in administration.  If you would like to email your picture, please send a jpeg file to [email protected]. The picture must be in LANDSCAPE format. Images must show your face. Images with goggles or sunglasses will not be accepted. In the subject line, please type your name and season pass picture. For example: JANE DOE Season Pass Picture.

Please save each image with the appropriate name.

Season lockers are available for just $125. Please remember to purchase your locker to secure your existing location. We have a record of your previous locker number, however we need final payment to reserve your spot! The locker room will be ready opening day! Keys are available in administration.
