The blowtorch has been unrelenting over the past week and we get another week before a change. Signs of a pattern flip are showing up for next weekend.
Bad news this week, warm and wet for all areas. Though there are really good signs of a pattern flip starting next week. Which would time out nicely for the Ski Southeast Summit.
Spring conditions are moving in for Friday but some wet snow mixed with rain is likely for Friday night into Saturday. In fact, the WV, VA and MD resorts could get a good 3-5" of wet snow Saturday. The pattern is not great next...
We can't seem to shake this February thaw. Another week of mild temperatures and rain. Though we will be a chance for some wet snow on Friday in WV and MD.
The conditions are great for skiing thanks to all the cold and snow this season. The problem with this weekend is the warm air and rain are moving in.
Well, it's a wild pattern with lots of ups and downs in the temperature department but the storm track remains very active.
Here we go with the active pattern and a storm every 2-3 days. Some of this is going to be a wet heavy snow.

Warm up and rain moving in for the weekend but don't worry it gets cold next week. Long range is starting to show signs of maybe something even bigger cold air and a favorable storm track. Stay tuned things could really be cracking up...
It's warm now but a nice quick shot of snow and cold moving in for Wednesday and Thursday. Look for a lot of ups and down in the next 10 days but Feb could start warm before a cold pattern change.
