August’s Foggy Mornings –

When we updated a couple of weeks ago, we asked our readers to help us remember to pay special attention to how many foggy mornings that we experience in August. Seems you guys pay attention. The messageboard is documenting this data each day. Way to go people! For the record, ALL three mornings have seen moderate to heavy fog cover thus far! This morning’s was the thickest of the three.

It will be interesting to see if the old wives tale holds up. For those unaware…farmers often advise that if you want to know how many snow storms you will experience in the coming winter…to take note of the number of fogs that you experience in August.

I like the way things are starting out! (3 for 3)
