I have posted more reports recently from “the road” than from sitting in our offices in “no snow” Foscoe. Today is another one of those days. I left out early this morning heading to Blacksburg, Virginia to do a “move in day” with my youngest daughter at Virginia Tech.

As I drove through Foscoe, Valle Crucis and Sugar Grove on my way to Damascus, Virginia, the fog was very thick the entire way. I snapped several photos of the drive and specifically of the Mast Farm Inn and the Mast General Store, but they all turned out blurry. (I was driving and snapping pics. I know. I know.)

Lucky for me Jon Bilous provided the foggy photo of the today of Grandfather Mountain engulfed in fog.

So as of this morning, we’ll call it 12 for 15. Scroll below to see additional photos from this morning.

Here is the morning by morning report:

Totals: 12 for 15 (and only sharing the latest dailies)
Aug 15: Yet another very foggy morning along Broadstone Road in Valle Crucis.
Aug 14: Foggiest morning of August thus far. Yep more than Monday.
Aug 13: Foggiest morning of August thus far.
Aug 12: Clear around the region except dense fog that settled in the valle.
Aug 11:Very foggy from atop Echota, near Foscoe and Seven Devils
Aug 10:Our Matt Laws said that it was very foggy pretty much for his entire trip in this morning.
