Cataloochee Ski Area AND Sugar Mountain Close Until Snowmaking Resumes11.11.12 05:24 PM UPDATE: 6:21PM:Both Cataloochee Ski Area and Sugar Mountain Resort have announced that due to mild temperatures, no snowmaking ops and slope conditions they will NOT OPERATE on Monday, November 12th. Both ski areas are looking at potentially cold enough temps coming in on Tuesday night for another chance to make snow and possibly reopen.
