THE BEECH MOUNTAIN LEARN TO SKI CHALLENGE POSTER CONTEST01.18.12 07:10 AM Be Active Learn to Ski!January is National Learn to Ski Month! In support of this initiative, Beech Mountain Resort will hold a (regional, local, national) poster design contest to promote learning to ski and snowboard. Eligibility: The contest is open to all 3rd – 5th grade students (regional, local, national) Dimensions and Form: All entries must be original flat, two-°©] dimensional drawings, paintings, or renderings. No photographs permitted. Posters should be at least 8.5”x11” and can be no larger than 11”x17”. Theme:Poster designs should be derived from the theme. Categories: Male and Female Prizes: 1st: A Beginner Ski or Board Set up (courtesy of FLOW Snowboards and Atomic skis) One full day in the BMR Youth Learning Center Two additional tickets A Helmet and Goggle Setfrom SCOTT Sports 2nd: One lift ticket, rental, and first time beginner lesson at Beech Mountain Resort 3rd: One first time beginner lesson at Beech Mountain Resort Deadline: January 31, 2011 Posters will be displayed at Beech Mountain Resort in the View Haus Cafeteria.
