There won’t be many opportunities for the ski areas around North Carolina to make snow for the next several days as overnight lows will be just above snowmaking range until MAYBE Tuesday night and then again Thursday night. Friday night looks good so maybe the ski areas can squeeze out some snowmaking this week and then crank up the snowguns in earnest over next weekend.

Monday: Hi: 47 Lo: 38 – AM light rains then cloudy; Winds W 10-20 mph
Tuesday: Hi: 53 Lo: 30 – AM cloudiness then partly sunny; Winds CALM
Wednesday: Hi: 45 Lo: 32 – Cloudy with rain developing
Thursday: Hi: 41 Lo: 30 – AM rain then breezy and turning colder with some afternoon snow flurries possible
Friday: Hi: 36 Lo: 24 – Breezy and cold; some flurries
Saturday: Hi: 36 Lo: 24 – Continued cold and dry
