The Arrival of the Great Hall Tree at The Homestead Resort

Every day at The Homestead Resort in Virginia is special. Every season is special. However, if you love Christmas and/or Winter, The Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia does it like no place else in the Southeast and mid-Atlantic.

Christmas at The Homestead Resort is Special

Anyone close to me knows that I am a ‘Christmas’ kind of guy. Choosing a Christmas tree is an art-form in our family and anyone who has been with us when selecting the perfect Christmas tree each year, will attest to the fact that, more often than not, we will visit more than one Christmas tree farm to find the tree that will grace our home for the Holiday season.

Each year, when I witness the Omni Homestead tradition of “The Arrival of the Great Hall tree”, it stirs our emotions. The Homestead, which is an Omni Hotels & Resort property in Hot Springs, Virginia celebrates that great tradition tomorrow and we thought we’d share their promotional video to announce it.

Tomorrow’s the day when they officially kick off the 2018 holiday season with the arrival of the Great Hall tree. Here’s a video to get you in the spirit!

The Homestead Resort also shared this video from more than 50 years ago that we found cool as heck. There’s no audio…but it is well worth a watch.
