Appalachian Ski Mountain offers THREE distinct terrain parks for Snowboarding and Skiers!

Appalachian Ski MtnThe crew has been at the Mountain since August, fabricating all sorts of rails, boxes, jibs - you name it really. ATP prides itself on the creativity, originality, design, and variety of all features in the parks, and this year the culmination of the crew’s concepts and expertise speaks for itself.

Grayson Gordon, ATP’s Terrain Park Supervisor has been at the forefront of this process, taking the crew’s input, designing most of the features, and fabricating all hours of the day. Along with him - Cody Eggers, Parker Bohon, and Ric Wilkinson have put in tons of hours dialing all of our new features and thinking up new possibilities.

ATP is proud to introduce a variety of features this season for all ages and abilities. Take a look at what is complete and waiting for you this season, plus a couple features still in progress – because the building never stops.

One of the first features the crew tackled, this box (along with almost all of our boxes and rails this year) features round coping edges, making for smoother tricks and combos. This box sits 16” tall – a perfect progression feature, and will definitely make its home most of the time in our new 3rd terrain park, AppalTop.

Appalachian Ski Mountain is unrivaled as providing the best terrain parks in the state of North Carolina and they are among the elite in the entire region.
