Linville River Log Cabins offers a great winter cabin get away. Our cabins are within just a short 15 minute drive to Banner Elk and Sugar Mountain ski area and they offer the perfect combination of economically priced lodging and log cabin getaways!

If many vacation log cabins are slightly out of your vacation budget, ours will probably fit nicely!

We offer streamside lodging right on Hwy 221 in the Linville Falls area as you approach Linville and Banner Elk.

A winter cabin rental at Linville River Log Cabins is an excellent "base" from which you can enjoy all of the winter activities offered by the High Country of Western North Carolina.

This includes playing in the snow at Sugar Mountain resort, cross country skiing (when natural snow permits), down hill skiing and snow boarding, snow tubing (more popular every year), ice skating, winter hiking and more...

the romantic get away as well as the family outing you are looking for...at prices starting at $125 a night!

All of our Rustic Winter Cabins are only a few yards away from the Linville River, all have hot tubs on the decks, fire places, fully equipped kitchens and much more. What, you don't want to be too rustic? We have WIRELESS INTERNET.

Two night minimums - Double Occupancy daily rates range from $125 - $152, $10 each additional person.

Seasonal Rates apply from December 20th to January 13th with two and some three night minimums. A modest rate increase of $5 p/nt goes into affect on January 1st 2010.

Join us in the heart of North Carolina’s ski country. We are located within 15-30 minutes of the areas top ski resorts. Enjoy a soak in your private hot tub in the High Country after a great day on the slopes. Relax as you listen to the Linville River rambling past your quiet cabin.

Directions
Two miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway
On HWY 221 near Altamont, NC.
If you are traveling North from I-40 Morganton, NC

Exit 105, turn North on 18. Travel North 3 miles to the city of Morganton and bear left on 181 north. Just before leaving town, there is a Food Lion (groceries) and a K-Mart on the right. Continue North on 181 until it intersects with Hwy 221. Turn left on 221 and travel about five miles... Linville River Log Cabins will be on your left.

If you are traveling South from Boone, NC

Take Hwy 105 South until it intersects Hwy 221 in Linville. Continue South on 221 through Pineola and Altamont... Linville River Log Cabins will be on your left just after you enter Altamont.
