Meteorologist Matthew East with Carolina News 14 has updated his Skier’s Forecast for the Southeast and Mid Atlantic Ski Resorts and you can view that full video by clicking on the link at the bottom of this text update!

The text summary is as follows:

Look for a mix of clouds and sun for Tuesday with highs in the 20s and 30s for the day with some slight chances of light rain on Christmas Eve but not anything that will mess up the slopes. Enjoy visiting with family and look for a great day on Thursday!

Christmas and Friday is looking quite nice with lots of sun and highs in the 40s and into the 50s for the North Carolina and Virginia Mountains with temps closer to freezing on Thursday for the West Virginia mountains and maybe in the upper 30s to low 40s for Friday.

For the coming weekend, things are looking decent with highs in the 40s and 50s with maybe a slight chance of spotty rain here and there.

The good news is that behind THAT is more seasonable COLD temps with highs in the 30s in WV through the middle of the following week and lows in the 20s. The Virginia and NC mountains should see temps slightly milder but plenty of sun and what should be decent snowmaking temps at night.

Matthew East provides a nice video that tells us what to expect for the next week. Click here> Skier’s Forecast for the Mid Atlantic and Southeast Ski Resorts
