HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN….. Skies will be partly cloudy Thursday with warmer temperatures in the middle 60’s and a 50% chance of PM thunderstorms. More thunder boomers likely (70% chance) for Thursday night with lows in the middle 40’s. Things settle down some with a 40% chance of rain showers to wrap up the week on Friday with highs in the middle 50’s.

SNOWSHOE… Skies will be partly cloudy Thursday with warmer temperatures in the upper 50’s. A bit breezy as well with winds gusting from the west as high as 30 mph. Clouds move in Thursday night with a 40% rain chance and lows around 42 degrees. Odds move up to 60% for wet weather on Friday with cooler temperatures in the low 50’s.

WINTERGREEN….. Some breaks in the clouds Thursday with very mild temperatures in the upper 60’s. For Thursday night clouds will be partly cloudy with lows in the upper 40’s. The week will end with a 20% rain chance on Friday and highs in the low 70’s.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
Thursday will be partly cloudy across the High Country with warmer temperatures in the middle 60’s. The mercury levels off in the middle 40’s Thursday night. Partly cloudy skies are on the menu again for Friday with temperatures in the middle 60’s. Looking ahead to the weekend…. just rubber stamp Friday’s weather again two more times for Saturday and Sunday.
