HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN…. A few scattered showers and thunderstorms in the mix for Tuesday with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the middle 60’s. Other than a 30% chance of evening shower and thunderstorms, skies will be mostly cloudy Tuesday night with lows in the lower 40’s. Wednesday will bring a mix of sun and clouds with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms and highs in the upper 40’s.

SNOWSHOE… A 40% chance of showers or thunderstorms for Tuesday with highs in the upper 50’s. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy with an isolated (20%) shot at a thunderstorm or two. Lows will be in the upper 40’s. Temperatures warm up to around 60 degrees for Wednesday with a 60% chance of thunderstorms.

WINTERGREEN….. A 20% chance of showers will move in for Tuesday (mainly afternoon) with temperatures warming up into the upper 70’s. More isolated evening showers (20%) then partly cloudy skies and lows in the lower 50’s. Temperatures warm up to around 70 degrees for Wednesday with a 50% chance of thunderstorms.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
Tuesday will be partly cloudy across the High Country with a 30% shower or thunderstorm chance in the afternoon as temperatures warm to near 70 degrees. More scattered showers or thunder possible (30% chance) for Tuesday night with lows in the middle 40’s. Temperatures will warm up to around 70 degrees for Wednesday with a 30% chance of thunderstorms.
