HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN…. Ending the week on Friday with partly cloudy skies and a high around 16 degrees. Single digits for Friday night with partly cloudy skies. Saturday will be slightly warmer, with a high close to 20 degrees. Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy for Sunday and Monday with highs in the low to middle 20’s.

SNOWSHOE…. Cloudy skies with snow showers and a high around 10 degrees for Friday and a wind chill around zero degrees. More snow showers (20%) Friday night with a low around 3 degrees. "Warming Up" for Saturday and Sunday, with highs in the low and middle teens, with more snow showers and flurries in the picture.

WINTERGREEN…. Temperatures will warm into the upper 20’s on Friday with partly cloudy skies. Another cold overnight period with lows around 7 degrees. Sunny skies are back for Saturday and Sunday with temperatures in the upper 20’s to lower 30’s.

OBER GATLINBURG…. Partly cloudy skies to return Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will climb into the upper 30’s to around 40 degrees both days. A bit warmer for Sunday with middle 40’s on the mercury with partly cloudy skies.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
A quiet end to the week for Friday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the middle 30’s. Winds will kick up between 10 and 20 mph from the northwest. Back down into the teens Friday night with a low in the middle and upper teens. The High Country will enjoy partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies over the weekend with temperatures in the middle 30’s. A 30% chance of rain showers develop for Monday with highs in the upper 30’s.
