Boone, NC, October 26, 2012 — The Rock Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Watauga County last Saturday, October 20, off of Blowing Rock Road near Wal-Mart. They picked a great day to open – App State Mountaineers had a big game against Wofford, and the Rock had it televised. They’ve hit the ground running, and are hosting their first event this Saturday. For details, be sure to check out their Facebook page.

In just a short amount of time, Facebook fans are already buzzing. "Fantastic place to chill with friends. Dozens of TVs and great staff," writes one visitor. Another adds, "Very welcoming atmosphere, nice variety of good food and great owners. A very nice addition to our community." It looks like the votes are in – this is a place worth checking out!

The newly remodeled restaurant and bar is open daily, featuring lunch and drink specials. The Rock is located at 276 Watauga Village Drive Boone, NC 28607. For more information, please visit https://www.facebook.com/therockboone, or call 828-386-1723.
