The Beech Mountain Learn to Ski Challenge Poster Contest

January is National Learn to Ski Month!  In support of this initiative, Beech Mountain Resort will hold a (regional, local, national) poster design contest to promote learning to ski and snowboard.

Eligibility: The contest is open to all 3rd – 5th grade students (regional, local, national)

Dimensions and Form:   All entries must be original flat, two dimensional drawings, paintings, or renderings.  No photographs permitted.  Posters should be at least 8.5" by 11" and can be no larget than 11" by 17".

Theme: Poster designs should be derived from the theme "Be Active, Learn to Ski or Snowboard".

Categories: Male and Female Prizes:

1st: 1 beginner ski and board setup, 1 helmet, 1 set of goggles, 1 day in the youth learning center

2nd: 1 beginner ski package

3rd: 1 beginner ski package

Deadline: January 31, 2013

On January 31, 2013, the posters will be displayed in the View Haus Cafeteria.  Beech Mount Resort's certified instructors will do the preliminary judging.  Tim Humphries, who is a professional snowboarder sponsored by FLOW, will do the final judging.
