Six inches of new snow fell at Wintergreen on Monday, giving the Virginia resort a nice little end of season powder day. Bluebird skies returned yesterday, and judging by this picture it looks like the skiing and riding up there was really good. Wintergreen closes for the season this weekend, hosting their annual Slide and Splash Weekend. Fun music, great food, a rail jam, costumes and pond skimming are just part of the festivities.
