The two 120-passenger trams depart regularly from downtown Gatlinburg and from the Ski Resort in Gatlinburg. The two-passenger tram cars counterbalance one another on one of the nation’s largest aerial tramways and provide unique and scenic transportation to the top and bottom of the mountain. The other way to get to Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort is to make the easy, scenic drive to the top. The road to the ski resort is right off the main thoroughfare in downtown Gatlinburg.
