Wisp Ski Area separates the Garrett County Ski season into three distinct time periods: Early Season (Opening Day-December 19), Peak Season (December 20-March 15), and Spring Season (March 6-March29). The slopes are open for McHenry MD Skiing at 9 am in the morning (sometimes earlier if you buy a multi-day Wisp MD lift pass and plan to attend a first tracts session); lift passes are priced based upon how long you plan to ski. You can purchase a Morning, Extended Day, Twilight, Afternoon, Night, 2-Day, and 3-Day passes. Lift tickets and passes to Wisp Ski Resort are priced based on the time period in which you are visiting Wisp Mountain Resort.
